NAME
strlen - calculate the length of a string

SYNOPSIS
#include <string.h>
size_t strlen(const char *s);
DESCRIPTION
The
strlen()
function calculates the length of the string pointed to by
s,
excluding the terminating null byte ([aq][rs]0[aq]).
RETURN VALUE
The
strlen()
function returns the number of bytes in the string pointed to by
s.

In cases where the input buffer may not contain
a terminating null byte,
strnlen(3)
should be used instead.
