NAME
libavdevice - multimedia device handling library
  
DESCRIPTION
The libavdevice library provides a generic framework for grabbing from
and rendering to many common multimedia input/output devices, and
supports several input and output devices, including Video4Linux2,
VfW, DShow, and  ALSA.
