There is a new website for collecting feeds from various sources named www.feedcollector.org
Linuxhowtos is now listed there, too.
On this site you can pick your favourite newsfeeds and get them joined together into one website and soon to your own newsfeed. Using that myfeed features is free and only requires an free account with username and password, no email is needed.
Make sure to add linuxhowtos to your private feed :)
